Where are Kick scooters available?
Kicks can be found in Old San Juan, Condado and Santurce, Puerto Rico. More Kicks will be coming soon to other municipalities and countries as we look to expand the solutions we provide to more people
What are the requirements to use a Kick?
You must be 18 years old or older and have a valid driver’s license in order to be able to ride a Kick.
How do I use a Kick?
It's very easy to use KICK scooters. Start by downloading the KICK App and signing up. Find the closest KICK in the map or you can also reserve a KICK up to 5 minutes in advance. Unlock the KICK by tapping on “Start Ride” and scanning the QR code to start your ride. Simply, push the KICK and hit the throttle on the right to go, and pull the brakes to slow and stop. You must follow all local traffic rules.
When you're done, use the kickstand to keep the scooter upright and park it on a sidewalk close to the curb without obstructing the flow of pedestrians.
Where can I ride a Kick?
Kick can only be ridden within the service area, which is the green colored zone on the map found in the Kick App. A Kick must never be ridden in the restricted area, which is the red colored zone on the map.
When riding in the city, please use bike lanes when available. Riding on sidewalks is not permitted.
What happens if I ride a Kick in the restricted area
When a Kick enters the restricted area (red), it will trigger an alarm and it will slow down and eventually stop the scooter. You are exposed to local traffic rules violations when entering the restricted area as scooters are not allowed in this area. Also, you will not be able to end the ride, you must return the Kick to the service area (green) in order to end the ride
How much do Kick cost?
eScooter fees vary, depending on the day, time and usage, but have a maximum charge of $75 per ride, plus taxes (11.5%).
Standard pricing is $3 for the first minute and $0.49 per minute after. If the price is higher than standard, it will be displayed to you at the start of your ride.
Pause ride fee is $0.15 per minute, plus taxes.
Reserve fee is $3 for 15 minutes, plus taxes.

Standard pricing is FREE for five (5) minutes and $2.50 per five (5) minutes after. If the price is higher than standard, it will be displayed to you at the start of your ride.
Pause ride fee is $0.25 per minute, plus taxes.
Reserve fee is $3 for 15 minutes, plus taxes.
How will rental time be calculated?
Rental time will be calculated from the moment of unlocking the scooter by tapping the “start ride” button in the Kick App until the you end the ride by tapping the “end ride” button and receiving the confirmation through the Kick App that the ride has been ended. The scooter must be inside the service area (green) in order to be able to end the ride. If the scooter is in the restricted area (red), you will not be able to end the ride
Can I rent more than one Kick at the same time?
Yes, you can rent up to 4 scooters per account.
Where and how should I park a Kick?
You should park a Kick in upright position on hard, flat surfaces such as sidewalks and close to the curb whenever possible without obstructing ramps, driveways, and the flow of pedestrians. They must be at least 6 feet away from buildings and businesses, and at least 3 feet away from surrounding bicycles
Where I cannot park a Kick?
Please DO NOT block fire hydrants, driveways, ramps, the flow of pedestrians or other riders. Please DO NOT park at plazas, parks, landscaped areas, beaches, or near loading zones. Please DO NOT park against buildings, businesses, or cars. Please DO NOT park right next to cars or benches
What happens if I cannot end the ride?
If the scooter is in the restricted area (red), you will not be able to end the ride. You must bring the scooter into the service area (green) in order to be able to end the ride. If the ride is not ended properly, the ride will continue and you will continue to be charged. If you have technical issues terminating a ride for any reason, you should report this through the Kick App immediately. Failure to report an issue in terminating a ride may result in continued charges
What happens if I leave a Kick inside a private property, locked community, or the restricted area
If you leave a Kick inside a private property or locked community, you will be charged a pick-up fee of up to $250, plus processing fees. If you leave a Kick in the restricted area (red) and do not return it to the service area (green), you will be charged a pick-up fee of up to $250, plus processing fees.
