FAQs

Where can I find Kicks?

Kicks are available in Old San Juan, Condado, Santurce, Hato Rey, and Río Piedras, Puerto Rico. They can also be found in Nassau, Palmcay, and Eastwood Park in the Bahamas. We are expanding to other municipalities and countries to provide easy transportation solutions.

What are the requirements to use a Kick?

To use a Kick, you must be 18 years or older, have a valid driver’s license, and possess a credit or debit card.

How do I use a Kick?

Simply download the KICK App, sign up, and locate the nearest Kick on the map. You can also reserve a Kick up to 15 minutes in advance. Unlock a Kick by scanning the QR code, then start your ride. Follow local traffic rules, and when done, park the Kick on a sidewalk close to the curb without obstructing pedestrian flow, handicap ramps, or business entrances.

Where can I ride a Kick?

Kicks can only be ridden within the green outlined service area on the map in the Kick App. Riding in the restricted red zone is prohibited, and certain red areas are designated as "No Parking Zones". Please use bike lanes when available and comply with local cycling laws. Riding on sidewalks is not permitted.

What happens if I ride a Kick in the restricted area?

Entering the red restricted area triggers an alarm, slows down, and eventually stops the vehicle. Violations of local traffic rules can occur, and you will not be able to end the ride until returning the Kick to the service area within the green outline on the map.

How much do Kicks cost?

Current rental fees can be viewed on the Kick app, varying based on the day, time, and usage.

How is rental time calculated?

Rental time starts when tapping “start ride” and ends when tapping “end ride” in the app within the service area. If the vehicle is in the restricted area, the ride cannot be ended until returning to the service area.

Can I rent more than one Kick at the same time?

Yes, you can rent up to 4 vehicles at a time per account.

Where and how should I park a Kick?

Park the Kick in an upright position using the kickstand on hard, flat surfaces such as sidewalks, close to the curb without obstructing ramps, driveways, or pedestrian flow.

Where can't I park a Kick?

Avoid blocking fire hydrants, driveways, ramps, pedestrian flow, or parking in plazas, parks, beaches, or near loading zones.

What happens if I cannot end a ride?

If unable to end a ride due to being in the restricted area, bring the vehicle back to the service area. Report technical issues through the Kick App immediately to avoid continued charges.

What happens if I leave a Kick inside private property or the restricted area?

Leaving a Kick in private property or the restricted area incurs a pick-up fee of up to $250, plus processing fees.
